Im Jahr 2002 wurde das Projekt LiteScout von Hagen Glass initiiert und ein Jahr später zusammen mit Andreas Hofmann von der Firma mp marketing & promotion GmbH gestartet. Heute umfasst das Projekt ein großes Netzwerk an freien Mitarbeitern, Förderern und freiwilligen Helfern, das sowohl Produkte als auch Dienstleistungen zur Förderung sehgeschädigter und mehrfachbehinderter Menschen anbietet.
Wir wurden bereits zu Projekt-Beginn sehr freundlich in die Gemeinschaft von qualifizierten Fachleuten aus Therapie, Pädagogik, Medizin und engagierten Mitgliedern aus Verbänden und Selbsthilfegruppen aufgenommen.

Initial talks with the “Blindeninstitut München“(Foundation for the Institute of the Blind in Munich), the VBS (Association of Pedagogues for the Blind and Partially Sighted) and the VzFB gegr. 1876 e.V. (Registered charitable institution for furthering the education of the Blind, founded in 1876) led to the concept and development of the LiteScout-system, liscensed in 2003.
